Our Values

Communication: I believe that the most important aspect of our relationship with you and your family is communication. If you have any worries about your child, I am always here to listen, advise, and/or refer to a specialist if needed. When it comes to the health and well-being of your child, never be afraid to ask! At the end of the day, your child’s health and safety is my primary concern.

Teamwork: It takes a village to raise a child, and I will work with you in order to provide the best care for your child.

Family: When you come to your appointments, we want the experience to be smooth, efficient, and most of all, friendly! I hope that you feel like you are a part of our ohana during your visits. Keep us updated regarding important life events such as awards, sporting events, birthdays, and graduations!

Preventative Care: It is important to see your pediatrician regularly in order to anticipate and prevent injuries and illnesses before they happen. The development of your child (their speech, motor, and social milestones) will be monitored carefully especially in the early stages (birth - 3 years of age) in order to properly address developmental problems and concerns.

Vaccines: I strongly believe in the research, science, and safety of vaccines and the protection that it brings all of my patients. I follow the CDC recommended guidelines for vaccine scheduling (see “Patient Resources”). If you have questions regarding vaccines, please don’t hesitate to ask.

Testimonials

“We love Dr. Diep! He has been caring for both of our daughters since birth. His office staff is friendly and we are easily able to make appointments. Dr. Diep is located in Kapiolani Medical Center and came to check in on our daughters immediately after they were born.
One of our daughters required surgery at an early age and Dr. Diep worked closely with her surgical team to ensure she received comprehensive care.
As new parents, we have a lot of questions. Dr. Diep is able to put our minds at ease and answer all of our concerns. We trust that our daughters are receiving the best care from Dr. Diep.”

“We recently had our daughter and are incredibly happy to have Dr. Diep as her Pediatrician. He is very personable, empathetic, knowledgeable and consistently reassuring at every encounter. As newly anxious parents, Dr. Diep responds to our emails, text messages and calls promptly. For those giving birth at the Kapiolani Medical Center, Dr. Diep will see you and your newborn even before you leave the hospital and makes it very clear what your next steps are. This makes everything that much more reassuring being in his care. Our clinic checkups have always been on time, efficient, and adhered to strict COVID protocols. Parking is so easy and their office offers validation for a certain time period. We are more than happy with him and his team and will always recommend him.”

“Vinson K. Diep is an amazing Pediatrician! We really appreciate his patience and knowledge which alleviated a lot of the stress we went through as first time parents. He takes the time to answer all of our questions thoroughly and has provided us with a lot of great advice to help us take care of our newborns.
We live in town, so we could not ask for a better location for our Pediatrician. Kapiolani Medical Center is in the heart of Honolulu, making trips to his office a breeze! There is ample parking in the parking structure, and Doctor Diep validates! We typically pay about $2 for parking. The Medical Center is very well maintained.
We highly recommend Dr. Diep and his team!”

“He has been extremely helpful with all our concerns and easy to get in touch with. Definitely recommend!”

“We came to the island looking for an amazing pediatrician for our five boys. My standards are extremely high when it comes to my families healthcare. Dr. Diep was highly recommended by the head ER physician at Kapiolani. She explained she would trust her own children with him, he was her top attending, and he just started building his practice. She was absolutely right. He has a sharpness about him that is extremely intelligent but also has a kindness about him that is good with kids and listens to parents. (A rare combo in my opinion). The front office staff is the kindest you’ll find on the island. Fast, attentive and on top of it. We are extremely relieved to find such quality care here coming from Southern California.”
