Dr. Vinson Diep
Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics: General Pediatrics
Dr. Diep was born and raised in Honolulu and graduated from Kalani High School. He completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Portland in Oregon with a Bachelors of Science in Biochemistry. He then returned home to attend the University of Hawaii John A. Burns School of Medicine for medical school and then completed his pediatric residency at Kapiolani Medical Center for Women & Children, while also having served as pediatric chief resident. Dr. Diep also speaks conversational Cantonese and Chiu Chow/Teochew. He enjoys playing with his dog Koby (lab mix), as well as watching and cheering on his sports teams the Houston Rockets, Los Angeles Rams, and the University of Hawaii basketball and football teams.
Dr. Michael Sia
Board Certified by the American Board of Pediatrics: General Pediatrics
Dr. Sia was born and raised in Honolulu and graduated from Punahou School. He completed his undergraduate studies at Dartmouth College with a Bachelors of Arts in Psychology and received his Masters in Public Health from the University of Hawaii, Manoa. He attended medical school at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, Ohio and completed his pediatric residency at Stanford University Lucile Packard Children's Hospital and served as pediatric chief resident. He is married to his wife Lea and has 2 daughters Marissa and Whitney. He has a dog named Keely and cat named Tehya. You can find him cheering on the Cleveland Browns, Cavaliers and baseball teams, as well as drinking soda.
Christalyn Sagario, MA
Christalyn joined the office in 2017. She was born and raised on Oahu and graduated from McKinley High School. She completed her medical assistant training at Remington College. She is a very outgoing person and has a dog named Princess who is a Tibetan Spaniel mix. Feel free to talk to her about video games, the latest TikTok trends, and what’s trending on Netflix (because she has probably watched it already).
Maurine Jane Arcan Deramos, MA
Maurine joined the office in 2017. She was born in the Philippines, raised on Oahu, and graduated from Farrington High School. She completed her medical assistant training at Remington College. She also has a dog named Titan who is a Pomeranian Chihuahua. She has superb organization skills (move over Marie Kondo!) and has a Cricut to further enhance her crafting. She has one daughter, Noelani Faith, who you may see in the office assisting with your visit!
Kylee Tawara, MA
Kylee is one of the newest members of the office staff. Born on Oahu and raised in Kaneohe, Kylee graduated from Hawaii Baptist Academy before attending the University of Washington. She graduated from UW with a major in Public Health - Global Health with a minor in Education. She was previously a volunteer at the Kapiolani playroom for over 7 years. Adding to our office pets, she also has two long-haired chihuahuas named Bambi and Mochi. In her free time, you can find her hiking around the island and experimenting with new recipes. Kylee’s long-term goal is to go to medical school and become a pediatrician (my bias, but the best specialty!).
Channalei Rodrigues-Wright, MA
Channalei is also a new member to the office. She was born on Oahu and graduated from Leilehua High School. She started her medical assistant career in 2016, with majority of her experience in pediatrics. She has a son named Makana who’s soon to be a big brother! In her free time, you can find her trying new foods, desserts, spending time with her family, and going around the island exploring and hiking.
